Life can be hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. We all experience seasons of challenge. Whatever the circumstances, Shiloh’s Diaconate Ministry is here to walk with you through these difficult seasons. We are here to offer prayer, encouragement, and resources specific to your situation.
“I was sick and you visited me.” Matthew 25:36(b)
If you or a loved one has a surgery scheduled, find yourself in the hospital unexpectedly, or have a family member who is no longer able to attend church, you may request a visit from a member
of our Diaconate team.
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
We offer support to those who have experienced
the loss of a loved one.
“I will not forget you!” Isaiah 49:15(d)
Do you have a family member who is no longer able to attend church? If you think they would like to be periodically contacted by someone on our Diaconate team, let us know. As their church family, we want to maintain a connection with them, so they do not feel forgotten.
At Shiloh, we love to celebrate a child becoming part of a family. We perform Dedications by giving thanks to the Lord for entrusting this child to the parent(s) and our congregation. The congregation commits to come alongside the parent(s) in raising the child in the ways and teachings of Christ.
Baptism represents a public declaration of a person’s personal decision to make Jesus the Lord and Leader of their life. Whenever a person decides to become a follower of Jesus, the next step is baptism.
Congratulations on your decision to enter into the sacred covenant of marriage. As your church family, we are here to support you
