Christian Education Ministry

The Christian Education Ministry is comprehensive and inclusive of disciples of all ages. The ministries of Christian Education work together to strengthen our church family and the surrounding community by encouraging others to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus through Bible study and prayer.

Children's Ministry
Location: 1429 Duke Street 
Meeting Date/Time: second, third, fourth Sunday of each month at 11:00 am
Children's church is available for children 6-11 years old.

The Children's Ministry helps children grow and develop into spiritual teens, young adults, and ultimately spiritual men/women of God, who will make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of Christ. Through the various children's ministries here at Shiloh, we believe that a firm spiritual foundation can be made that will anchor our children forever.

Church School

Church School provides the opportunity to draw all ages to the knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ, through the study of God’s word through a holistic church school program.

ACE: Academic Christian Tutorial Program
Location: 1429 Duke Street
Meeting Date/Time: Tuesdays, Thursday 6:30-7:30 pm

ACE serves students in grades K-12.
The goal of ACE is to service the SBC and surrounding communities by providing individualized academic enrichment outside of the traditional classroom setting in an effort to inspire young minds toward independent and critical thinking, which are essential for continued academic progression.

History Ministry

The historian and the History Ministry preserve the history of Shiloh Baptist Church by maintaining as many of the artifacts, historical papers, books, images, and records as possible. They also maintain the Shiloh History Museum, which consists of a historical concept museum gallery and a contemporary concept museum gallery.

Mid Day Bible Study
Location: 1401 Duke Street

Mid Day Bible Study provides Bible study, fellowship, and lunch primarily for senior and retired members but welcomes the participation of other ages as well. These study sessions provide opportunities for discussion and for learning about God's word and its daily operation.

New Member Orientation-Salvation, History, Application and Personal Relationships, and Expectations (S.H.A.P.E)

S.H.A.P.E. ensures that all new members make a smooth and comfortable transition by helping them to assimilate into their new church family as well as connect persons, gits, talents and interest to ministry.

Nursery
Location: 1429 Duke Street
Meeting Date/Time: second, third and fourth Sunday of each month at 11:00 am for potty trained children ages 2-5 years old

The Nursery provides loving, safe care for toddlers and children where they can be nurtured in a Christian environment through biblical teachings like stories, memory verses, Christian videos, and songs, and by modeling Christ’s love.

Scholarship Ministry
